South Korea 2024

In the fall of 2024, I cycled through South Korea. Starting in Sokcho on the East Coast, I cycled down the coast until Pusan. From Pusan, I then followed the Four Rivers Cycle Path across the country to Seoul. I stayed in small Motels during this trip, thereby reducing my baggage. The entire trip followed well marked cycle paths, sometimes on the road, but often on dedicated cycling roads. The East Coast was lively, bubbly and often crowded. I passed by huge industrial areas and many military checkpoints. In contrast, cycle across country on the Four Rivers Cycle Path lead me through remote and rural areas. Overall, I covered 1180km and 8700 vertical meters in 9 days.
